Spiros Tarifas

Spiros was born in Toronto, Canada but grew up in Greece. He has been introduced to Yoga at 2005 by a teacher that taught the “inner cleaning” rather than asana practice. That experience was enough to led him in 2010 in Ashram of Sivananda in Vrindavan, India.

Continuing his journey he visited North Thailand where he has been taught the art of Thai Massage and since then he travels every year to Asia in order to meet and collaborate with various teachers but also to learn new yoga practices. Since 2011, he organizes trainings in Thai massage and since 2019, he teaches Yoga Teacher Trainings in Greece and around the world.

Marialena Alexiou

Marialena loved yoga in 2016, after completing her Bachelor degree in Psychology, at the University of Crete. While she was practicing daily Hot Yoga and Vinyasa Yoga, she finished her Postgraduate degree at the National Τechnical University of Athens in the field of Architecture, regarding the relation between architectural space and human behavior.

It is a fact that yoga revealed a connection between herself and her body that was by then unknown and it turned fascinating during this exploring.

Being yoga already her lifestyle, she decided to travel to India taking the 200hr Teacher Training in Ashtanga – Vinyasa. Since 2019 she teaches Vinyasa classes in Athens and in Kefalonia island during the summer period. In 2022 she completed the training in Thai Massage. Each year she travels in Asia expanding her knowledge.

For her, the journey of yoga is a long term trip that unfolds your own potential and that’s definitely a self-awareness process that surprises you!

Polyxeni Aklidi

Polyxeni Aklidi is a certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher and a freelance actress based in Athens, Greece. In and all she finds the two complementary in an intriguing way. Over the years, she has studied extensively within various and diverse yoga traditions.

She has completed a few yoga teacher training programs including the Jivamukti Yoga 300hr Certification. She has organized and co-taught the 200hr Swaha Teacher Training Course in Crete in the summer of 2017.

Polyxeni has studied Architecture at Manchester University and Acting in the Drama School of the National Theatre of Northern Greece and holds a Masters Degree on Devised Theatre from Dartington College of Arts with the support of the Greek National Scholarship Institute.
Her love for yoga and performance led her to travel around the world, from Brazil to India, to the States, England and Costa Rica. She cherishes having the opportunity to share her yoga practice, combining asana, meditation, chanting, yogic philosophy, poetry and literature.

Theodore Famelis

Theodore was born in Athens and graduated from the German Language Faculty of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He is practicing yoga the last 15 years, including daily Ashtanga Yoga practice.

He fulfilled his first 200hrs and 300hrs Hatha Yoga Teacher Training. After that, a 50hrs Yin Yoga Teacher Training followed. Since then, he teaches in various yoga studios and fitness centers Vinyasa, Ashtanga and Yin Yoga, while at the same time he participates in teacher trainings as a trainer, organizing yoga retreats and workshops too. He constantly stays upgraded by attending seminars and workshops.

In February 2015 he traveled to India, in the heart of this amazing and magical philosophical system of Yoga, in Mysore, at the Shri K. Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute (KPJAYI).

Through his yoga path, he met YogaWorks. After he completed the 200hrs and 300hrs Teacher Training , he started teaching as a trainer from 2019 to 2022.

His path and inner journey still go on, getting him more luminous and serene.
